As we drive to become the best for brokers and make things even easier for you to place your cases, from Monday 24 June we’re launching a soft credit search as part of our decision in principle (DIP) stage. We want to give you more certainty upfront that your client’s credit file will meet our criteria. This search won’t leave a footprint on their credit file.
We’ll still complete our usual hard credit search once the mortgage application has been received. And just a reminder – we don’t credit score.
Here are some of the other ways we’ll help during the journey:
- Our daily credit committee review each case on its own merit to find ways to say yes and provide a quick decision that you can rely on
- Our award-winning team will look after your case, including a dedicated underwriter, who will be easily accessible throughout and will provide proactive updates
- You’ll also have access to our online application system, Case Hub, anywhere and at anytime for efficient processing of your cases
