We’re writing to let you know that our Broker Portal password requirements will be changing next week so we have sent a copy of the email below to our registered brokers this afternoon.
To enhance the protection of your account, and further prevent unauthorised access, we are implementing more robust password requirements for our Broker Portal. This means that our Broker Portal will be unavailable for a period of time whilst we update our system.
Our Broker Portal will be unavailable from 5:00pm on Monday 14th October until the morning of Tuesday 15th October.
When you next log in to our Broker Portal
When you log in to the Broker Portal after the update has been made to the system, you will be taken to a screen where you will be asked to change your password.
Your new password must:
- Be a minimum of 12 characters
- Include upper and lower case letters, at least one number and one special character
Why are we making this change?
In recent months, there has been an increasing need for greater vigilance and enhanced security measures to protect you, our intermediary partners, your clients as well as ourselves. At Fleet, we take security seriously so the introduction of a stronger, more complex password is essential for enhanced security.
Please note: If your current password already meets these new requirements, you will still be asked to change it.
