Landbay are delighted to announce they have added Ex-LA flats with Deck Access into permitted policy.
A reminder of our Ex-local authority criteria:
- No restriction on number of storeys
- Min 30sqm
- Min value £65,000
- Must have a majority private ownership in block
- Surveyor comments on suitable demand / marketability
For now, we will not permit Automated valuations on Ex-LA with Deck Access, but applicants can utilise either of our current discounted Limited Edition Range (for portfolio landlords) or our non-portfolio landlord range, with 5 year rates starting at 4.34% (stressed at payrate too!)

We get asked frequently how can we check private ownership. I’m sure most of you have this bookmarked anyway, but here is the link to Street Check, a really useful free website to give a high-level steer.
We would also encourage applicants to consider purchasing freehold title deeds to identify how many leases have been granted on the block as this is what lenders will typically use for lending decisions.
