Home Insurance

We offer a range of optional extras with our Home Insurance including:

Home emergency cover – 24-hour access to approved tradespeople for when a home emergency arises. Call out charges and parts & labour costs are covered up to a maximum value of £1,000.

Legal expenses cover – Our family legal protection offers you legal cover of up to £100,000 for a range of unforeseen circumstances such as employment law, property disputes and personal injury.

Accidental damage cover – Protection for accidental mishaps which can be added to both Buildings and Contents Insurance.

Personal possessions cover – Cover for accidental loss or damage to items usually worn or carried, like jewellery or mobile phones both in the UK and abroad up to £30,000.

 Landlord’s Insurance

Paymentshield Landlord’s Insurance gives your clients a range of features such as alternative accommodation for their tenants and new for old replacement as standard. The policy can also be tailored to suit your client’s individual needs with a range of optional extras, ensuring their investment is properly protected. It offers:

  • Standard Landlord’s Buildings Insurance of up to £1,000,000
  • Up to £2,000,000 property owners’ liability cover
  • Cover for malicious damage caused by a tenant as standard
  • Up to £500 of cover for contents in the garden or open grounds of the insured property
  • Cover of up to £1,000 for loss of theft of keys

Accidental damage for buildings & contents – Protection for the landords building and contents from unexpected mishaps.

Landlord’s emergency support –Landlord’s emergency cover provides a 24-hour service with access to approved tradesmen to resolve a range of emergencies. For example, it can help if the tenants found themselves completely locked out of the property, or after a complete failure of the heating or electrics in the property.

Legal expenses for landlords – Our legal expenses cover has been designed to protect landlords during legal disputes arising from renting out the property, such as property disputes, tenant eviction, and tax protection.

Rent protection –Rent protection is there to make sure you don’t experience a loss of income if your tenant stops paying the rent.
