This Protection sign off course learning module is required for advisers or Network Members of Connect who have sold protection in the market before and have some understanding of the products
This content should give you a basic refresher of the main types of protection cover available, as well as highlight some key areas for further learning AFTER the course. The aim is to ensure you have an appropriate level of understanding to be able to advise customers in todays marketplace.
After studying the initial sections using your existing knowledge you should be in a position to pass the “Protection sign off competency test” contained within this course. You will have 2 attempts to pass this course. If you fail the two attempts you will need to attend the protection training day day which will be held shortly before the protection sign off day
Finally following the Protection sign off day you will be asked to watch 3 videos to re-enforce your knowledge of the subject matter – The Life stages of protection with Zurich, Selling protection in the BTL marketplace and Finding out about IPipeline’s sourcing options. When this has all been completed and passed you will have your protection permissions issued and your agency codes requested which will allow you to advise.
