Rental yields edge up across England and Wales as professionalisation of landlords continues
- The North East remained the top-yielding region across Q3 with rental yields of 9%
- Over 61% of applications in Q3 were from portfolio landlords holding four or more properties
- Limited company borrowers continued to dominate, making up 81% of all applications
- High demand (38%) from those looking to add properties to their rental portfolios
- First-time landlords held steady, representing 12% of all applications
