Criteria for self-employed applicants.
Using common sense, we’ll look at each case and make a real-world decision that works for your clients.
We’ll consider an applicant with^:
- Two years of SA302 tax forms, or a full accountant’s certificate.
- An accountant’s certificate if they’ve only been trading for 12 months.
- 100% projected income.
We can also assess affordability on an applicant’s latest income figures. And consider applications if their circumstances have changed from sole trader to limited company (and vice versa) within the last 12 months, and cases where both applicants are self-employed.
