Source Insurance announced their new rent guarantee product for landlord insurance.
A rent guarantee is a great way to ensure your landlord clients have an additional safety net for loss of income from their tenants. They all know long-term illness and loss of employment can affect someone’s ability to pay their rent on time.
Because of this, their Rent Guarantee product will help protect landlords and their income if they cannot receive their money from tenants.
What will their product include?
Optional Rent Guarantee cover
Where full tenant referencing has taken place, they can offer Optional Rent Guarantee cover for working and retired tenants.
Up to £2,500 cover
For a maximum of a 12-month period, they can offer up to £2,500 cover per calendar month.
Provide cover for loss of rent
This product provides cover for loss of rent up to vacant possession whilst cover is being provided to regain repossession of your property under the ‘Legal Pursuits’ section of your legal expenses cover.
