We’ve simplified our legal documents process – making it quicker and easier for both you and your clients.
For all new loan applications, we will no longer include the Legal Charge or Personal Guarantee documents (where applicable) in our offer pack.
Instead, these documents will now be issued directly by our panel solicitors. They will notify you when they’re sent to your client, so you can continue supporting them through the signing process.
What are the benefits?
- A smoother process with solicitors guiding document issuance and signing – reducing delays from errors
- Clients can now e-sign the Legal Charge for added speed and convenience
- Our teams can focus more on progressing cases, not document checks
When does this take effect?
This change applies to all cases where an offer has not yet been issued, or where an existing offer is being reissued, effective from 31st July 2025.
Update to Electronic Banking Fees for Real Estate Clients
To ensure that we continue to offer a competitive and consistent service, we are updating the electronic banking fee for our Real Estate clients. The fee for outbound electronic payments will increase from £20 to £30 including VAT per transaction.
Please note that all other aspects of the electronic payment process—including CHAPS and Faster Payments—remain unchanged.
